Example Usage

Cleaning Procedure – by a London Watchmaker

Elma 1:9 (red). Mix exactly as specified by the manufacturer: 1 part Elma, 9 parts water.

Cleaning sequence:

  1. 9 minutes cleaning with Elma 1:9 at low speed
  2. 3 minutes spin dry at higher speed (remove Elma)
  3. 6 minutes rinse with distilled water at low speed
  4. 3 minutes spin dry at higher speed (remove water)
  5. 6 minutes rinse with Elma Suprol at low speed
  6. 3 minutes spin dry at higher speed (remove Suprol)

Air dry afterwards.

Approx. 450 ml solution per glass.

Elma 1:9 (red) lasts approx. 20 cleaning cycles (until color fades and solution turns cloudy).
